Surkhet, Under the SHIFT 2025 campaign of Save the Children Nepal, a friendly wheelchair sports event has been successfully conducted in Surkhet. Organized by the Spinal Injury Association Surkhet, the event took place at Kopila Valley School, where persons with disabilities not only played friendly matches but also interacted with the students of Kopila Valley School.
During the program, Durga Prasad Tiwari, Media and Communications Coordinator at Save the Children Nepal, shared information about the work carried out by Save the Children as well as details about the SHIFT campaign.
Similarly, Rajan Karki, Principal of Kopila Valley School, highlighted the need for constructing accessible infrastructure to ensure the rights of persons with disabilities.
